Torche frontman Steve Brooks has revealed that the doom-metal band’s upcoming fall tour opening for Meshuggah (alongside Converge on one leg and In Flames on the opposite) will probably be his final. “We’re a couple of months away from the final tour I’m doing with Torche,” he wrote on Instagram. “We’ve been so very fortunate and went far past what I imagined. I simply don’t have it in me to maintain this going dwelling on reverse sides of the nation. A lot like to my band members and everybody that supported us these 18 years! See y’all this Sept/Oct.”

There isn’t a phrase from the opposite band members concerning Torche’s future. Torche’s final album was 2019’s Admission. See the tour’s full rundown beneath.
