Get together Dozen are a Sydney-based duo made up of Kirsty Tickle on saxophone and Jonathan Boulet on percussion and sampler. They’ve performed with artists like Liars, Tropical Fuck Storm, and Viagra Boys. Their music is scraggly and experimental, usually largely instrumental aside from the truth that Tickle typically sings into the bell of her saxophone and manipulates it with results pedals. They not too long ago introduced their new album The Actual Work, due out in July.

They’ve shared a brand new track from the album known as “Macca The Mutt.” Notably, it’s the first time the duo have welcome a visitor onto one in every of their recordings. And much more notably, that visitor is none aside from fellow Australian Nick Cave. When making “Macca The Mutt,” the 2 felt there was one thing lacking, and imagined Cave ad-libbing over the top of the monitor. That was apparently extra of a joke, however then in some way it truly occurred. In consequence, Tickle and Boulet known as it “essentially the most highly effective monitor we’ve ever written.”

Test it out under.

The Actual Work is out 7/8 through GRUPO/Short-term Residence.
